Choose Your Swipe Tool: Anything from a palette knife, a piece of cardboard, or even a damp paper towel can serve as your swipe tool.
Perform the Swipe: Gently drag your tool across the canvas, lightly touching the paint to swipe the top layer and reveal the colors underneath. The angle and pressure you apply can dramatically alter the effect.
